I've had this grinder for 6 months now. I've used it every morning to make two doubles. This grinder is excellent. So quiet. Well built. But the declumper dude... The buildup is insane even after a solid cleaning. After one grind there's already a blockage. I ended up taking out the declumper and doing RDT for every grind. Works great. The last thing you want is day old stale grinds in your first cup of coffee in the morning.
Love operating the machine. It’s beautiful to see it every morning.
It’s great that Ascaso has an online store for replacement parts. Sometimes it’s difficult to determine which spring I need so I order both. The round white brew valve piece is pretty much routine maintenance for us so we keep a spare on hand.
