Burrs were sent on a plastic zip bag, with sharp burr faces against each other. This packaging solution is below expected, for burrs that require to be sharp and in good shape, to produce good results while grinding.

I would understand that this are 54mm, and bigger burrs are expensier, but, regardless, should have come, at least, facing away, touching from the back side.

No protection whatsoever from the plastic zip bag. Damaged many teeth. Still better than the old ones, whom I have no idea how old are.

There was another review with the same issue, I expected better. I would like a resolution about this.

When my burr set arrived, they had noticeable dents/dulling along the edges making the burrs dull along every single cutting surface of the set. I've never encountered this issue with industry standard burr sets from other brands such as Mazzer and Baratza. As a coffee roaster and equipment manager, I am deeply unsatisfied with my product. Since the shipping took a while, I will not be returning them.

However, installation is simple and straightforward. Ascaso's grinders are easily maintainable with a moderately sized tool set. Alignment is pretty easy as well provided that you follow good practices such as not cross-threading the brass threads or overtightening anything.

Overall I'm just disappointed in the quality of the end product of the burrs. Care is NOT taken when producing/shipping them so the steel burrs will dull themselves because they have the chance of banging into one another, dulling the sharp cutting surfaces.
